Using MD 2.8.5 and mono 184.108.40.206 every time I save (after opening a xib) Xcode is brought to the front, in front of monodevelop.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new MT project (I used Master-Defail Application, but I don't think it matters)
2. Double click a xib to open Xcode (I clicked the RootViewController.xib)
3. Go back to MD
4. Make a code change (just add a space)
5. Press CMD+s to save
Sorry meant to add all the version info:
Installation UUID: 876050e5-fb39-4ec7-9518-f0681f6e4eb4
Mono 220.127.116.11 (tarball Mon Dec 19 15:17:20 EST 2011)
Apple Developer Tools:
Xcode 4.2.1 (834)
This is a regression. We should only be doing outbound syncs when opening xibs in MD.
This has already been fixed in master.
