On Windows Phone, it seems there is an issue with Entry. When setting its keyboard type to Keyboard.Numeric and IsPassword to true, the regular keyboard is triggered, as opposed to the intended numeric one.

Works otherwise as expected on iOS as well as on Android.

Tested on:
- Xamarin.Forms 1.2.3 (stable) and 1.3.1 (stable)
- Windows Phone Silverlight 8.1
- Android 4.4 and 5.0
- iOS 8.1

Code to reproduce this issue:

public class App : Application
        public App()
            MainPage = new ContentPage
                Content = new StackLayout
                    VerticalOptions = LayoutOptions.Center,
                    Children = {
			new Label
				XAlign = TextAlignment.Center,
				Text = "Entry with Keyboard=Keyboard.Numeric and IsPassword=true"
                        new Entry()
                            Placeholder = "Enter digits",
                            IsPassword = true,
                            Keyboard = Keyboard.Numeric

I have checked this issue and I am able to reproduce this issue.

Observation: I observed that when we set keyboard property of Entry control to Numeric and set IsPassword property to true, entry control does not shows the numeric keyword instead of it shows the alpha numeric keyboard. If I set IsPassword property to false, it shows the numeric keyboard.

I have checked the same on android and observed that the same is working fine on Android.

This seems to also be impacting Android. I pulled down the git repo for xamarin-forms-samples and switched to the 1.3.3 branch (latest commit efb437d1)

I opened up the TipCalc project and updated all of the packages; so that means xforms and Android.support.v4 21.0.3.

Running the TipCalc project on my HTC EVO 3D (Android version 4.0.3) results in the default keyboard being displayed when any of the Entry fields are focused.

I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms version and now its working fine at my end.

Hence I am closing this issue.
