Description Adrian 2015-01-26 12:04:00 UTC
Environment -

Xamarin Studio
Version 5.7 (build 661)
	Mono 3.12.0 ((detached/a813491)
	GTK+ 2.24.23 (Raleigh theme)

	Package version: 312000068

Apple Developer Tools
Xcode 6.1.1 (6611)
Build 6A2008a

Version: (Starter Edition)

I can build my application an use the simulator to debug the app but if I try to upload it to a device I'm getting the following error -

"Error MT9005: User code size, 138240 bytes, is larger than 131072 bytes and requires a Indie (or higher) license. (MT9005) (Browser)"

The size of the .exe file generated is only 66048 bytes.

Do you reference any library projects or components?

Can you do a "ls -la" of the bin/iPhoneSimulator/Debug/ directory so that we can check the size of all the assemblies involved?

Can you zip up and attach your project so that we can look at it?
Comment 6 Adrian 2015-01-27 04:19:36 UTC
Project attached as private. I've had to delete the bin and obj directories so its small enough to upload.

Thanks for your help

I do not see this error while building your attached project (tried both simulator and device builds) using starter.

Could you add "-v -v -v -v" to the "Additional mtouch arguments" in your project options, do a full Rebuild (or Clean and Build) and attach the entire build log to the bug report ?

Closing (no answer). If you can still duplicate this issue please provide us with the information requested in comment #7 (and also update the version information if you updated any of the software being used).
