Xamarin Studio used to have an excellent feature that could compensate at least partially for the lack of documentation (especially in Forms) - do to the definition of any method, including ones that are in assemblies that came from packages.

Doing that in 5.7 (latest stable version as of this post) only shows method and property signatures and no implementation code - a major impediment when creating Xamarin.Forms custom renderers

Have you switched to the c# view in the assembly browser ?
There is a combo box at the upper right corner for that.

(There is a feature showing only the summary - users requested that)

Never mind... it's just the Language selection defaults to Summary instead of C#
