Hi Vincent,

Could you please confirm that android SDK is properly installed on your machine if not you can update android SDK from here:
Xamarin Studio => Tools => Open Android SDK Manager... => Select and Installed the packages.

If you still getting that behavior after updating the android SDK, please attached build output and application logs.

You can get build information from here:
Xamarin Studio => About Xamarin Studio => Show Details => Copy Information

You can get build output from here:
View => Pads => Errors => select output button => Copy the build output and attach with this issue.

If it is possible please attache your sample project. So that we can reproduce this behavior at our end.
