Reproduced on HTC Sensation XE (Android 4.0.3)
1) Create two Pages with Map controls on it
2) Launch application with first page as a shell.
3) Open second page using Navigation.PushModalAsync.
Result: map on child Page doesn't work: no markers visible, map cannot be scrolled or zoomed.
Same application works fine on HTC One (Android 4.4.2)
I have checked this issue but I am unable to reproduce this issue.
Could you please provide sample project, build info and logs(application output + Device logs + IDE logs). So that we can reproduce this issue at our end.
You can get build info from here:
Xamarin Studio => About Xamarin Studio => Show Details => Copy Information
You can get device logs from here:
Navigate to your android sdk => platform- tools and type the following command in terminal: ./adb logcat
You can get IDE logs from here:
Xamarin Studio => Help => Open Log Directory => ide logs( with latest timestamp)
Is this a Xamarin.Android bug or a Xamarin.Forms bug?
Because we have not received a reply to our request for more information we are closing this issue. If you are still encountering this issue, please reopen the ticket with the requested information. Thanks!
