This issue came into existence when we upgraded to xamarin.ios versions that no longer use the '_RemoteBuild' target.

We are building the solution using the following:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\12.0\Bin\MSBuild" /t:build /p:Configuration=TestFlight;Platform=iPhone OurSolution.sln

the configuration for the xamarin project does have an ad-hoc ipa output, and the provisioning profile is correct. Pretty much everything is in order, and we consistently build from visual studio without issue. Just building from the command line causes an issue, ie the build succeeds, but the ipa is not rendered.

I noticed that the build logs produces the below, except for the first project built:

  Fail to resolve address

any progress on this issue?

Adding the following bug to the "See also" section as a possibly related issue:

Bug 24416 - Building "Ad-Hoc" configuration from command line does not copy IPA file to Windows

Thanks for the report. Marking as a duplicate of bug 26484 because I'm fairly confident it's the same issue, and the new bug has precise "steps to reproduce" and "results" sections.
