Description Dimitar Dobrev 2014-12-09 11:43:11 UTC
Java code:

public class Parent
    public int getType() { return 0; }

and count(parameter)=0]" name="managedName">Type_</attr>

Type_ is consequently wrapped as a method, not as a property which would've been the case had it not been renamed.

I tried to reproduce this issue but I am not able to reproduce the reported behavior. If you have a chance, it might also be helpful to include sample application, build information and IDE logs.

You can get IDE logs form here:
Visual Studio => Help => About Microsoft Visual Studio => Copy Info

You can get IDE logs from here:
Visual Studio=> Help=> Xamarin => Zip Xamarin Logs ( attache the zip file)

marking as NORESPONSE.

Further comment on the solution: "propertyName" attribute is the one for property.

path="/api/package[@name='some.package']/class[@name='Parent']/method[@name='getType' and count(parameter)=0]" name="propertyName">Type_</attr>

It would have converted to Type property without any metadata fixup though.
