Does the app actually launch on the device?

Can you get the device log and see if anything is printed there?

Device Logs

Still confirming if the app runs by itself, but the device logs suggest crashing.
Comment 3 James 2014-12-04 18:47:31 UTC
1. Build with debugging on:
Builds ok.
Deploys to device ok.
app crashes before debugger can connect.

2. Attempting to run build at any point after deployment once on device from above scenario app crashes

3. Build for release):
Builds ok.
Deploys ok.
Runs ok.
Comment 4 Rolf Bjarne Kvinge [MSFT] 2014-12-05 06:10:39 UTC
Try disabling "Incremental builds" in the iOS Build options.

OK, I'm closing this then.

Feel free to reopen if you get more information.
