Hi Team,

We have created a Windows App using Xamarin Forms and we are able to run the App using Emulators and Windows app Registered Mobile. Now we need to create a package for the windows app and now we are not able to create the package.

we are using MS Visual Studio 2013, under Menu Project > Store - all the option are grayed out and we are not able to create any package.

Kindly check the attached image for your reference.

Please check and provide us a solution for creating a windows app package in Visual Studio using Xamarin Forms

I have checked this issue with the help of bug description and getting the same behavior. I observed that we are able to run the App using Emulators but not able to create package as context menu of store under project is disabled.

Hence marking it as Confirmed.

Hey there Urmil,

So that "Store" menu is only enabled for "Windows Store" applications, which are for the desktop. When you create a Xamarin.Forms application it is creating an iOS, Android, and Windows Phone application.

To upload and publish your Windows Phone application you would simply need to build your app in release mode, find the XAP file and then upload it to the windows developer center. You can find instructions here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/jj206723(v=vs.105).aspx

Hi like James answered, that store options are for Windows Store apps , for Windows Phone 8.0 just build the app in release mode and upload your XAP to the store.
