Description Peter Collins 2014-11-21 14:13:00 UTC
The tests "FindSystemTimeZoneById_Local_Roundtrip" and "Test326" are throwing a System.TimeZoneNotFoundException on master. I believe these two tests were added ~recently, and as such there's no data to compare against regression wise. This failure happens consistently across multiple devices.

Relavent Logcat output:

OSX Mavericks
XA master / 4b55d74358e

One of my own TimeZone tests is also now throwing an exception at System.TimeZoneInfo.FindSystemTimeZoneById
Comment 2 Jonathan Pryor 2014-11-26 21:10:42 UTC

Assert.AreEqual (TimeZoneInfo.Local.Id, TimeZoneInfo.FindSystemTimeZoneById (TimeZoneInfo.Local.Id).Id);

Mono was "fixed" so that TimeZoneInfo.Id would be "Local" for TimeZoneInfo.Local.

The probable cause is that FindSystemTimeZoneById("Local") probably doesn't work on Android.

Test326() is the same: it requires that FindSystemTimeZoneById("Local") work.

Fixed in mono/77e11f7f, mono-3.12.0-branch/3016bd7f, monodroid/02958b08, and monodroid-5.0-branch/3303f1bd.
