xamarin it's a new app for me, and i need it for work. Thanks for helping

I have tried to reproduce this issue but not able to reproduce this. To reproduce this issue I have followed the steps below.
1. Create a simple android app via ‘File ->New ->Solution… ->C# ->Android ->Android Application’.
2. Create a new activity in app via ‘Right Click on project -> Add -> Add Files… -> Android Activity’.
3. Implement the code provided in bug description in added activity.
4. Call the added activity on button click event of first activity (It is default activity in android app).
5. Run the app and click on button ‘Hello World, Click me!’, It will redirect on second activity.
6. Click on button ‘click me’ and button text will change to ‘Thanks for clicking :)’.

I am attaching a test app which I have created to reproduce this issue with this comment. Please let me know if I missed any step to reproduce this issue.
Also could you please provide your complete build info, application output and Ide log?
You can get build info via ‘Xamarin Studio ->About Xamarin Studio ->Show Details ->Copy information and paste’ and Ide log via ‘Help ->Open Log Directory -> get the latest Ide log’
