Description Rodrigo Kumpera 2011-12-08 10:01:49 UTC
Parallel MS doesn't work on trunk. It busyloop around the pinning code when a major object is pinned.
Comment 1 Rodrigo Kumpera 2011-12-08 10:03:01 UTC
To reproduce this, do "make test-oom" in mono/tests.
Comment 2 Rodrigo Kumpera 2011-12-08 11:30:48 UTC
The problem is that pin_or_update_par will call pin_major_object which pins the block while not touching the object.

This, in turn, causes pin_or_update_par to spin indefinitely as it keeps checking the object header for the pin bit.
Comment 3 Rodrigo Kumpera 2011-12-28 08:38:07 UTC
Fixed on trunk.
