Description Lopatkin Ilja 2011-12-08 01:32:20 UTC
It hasn't been working for quite a long time.
So if I have, for example, problem with unknown class name and need to add using I must use the Menu key, go to Resolve and pick the right namespace instead of just pressing a quick fix combination.
Later I found this commit: https://github.com/mono/monodevelop/commit/40d2bf5070db2e38c25858afd929fb4f471af922
Any changes it will be enabled again?

Atm the quick fixes are cancelled ... maybe we'll see them again.

But chances are high :)

Good news - quick fix is back and better than ever.

Thanks! Just checked 'newresolver' branch and it's gonna be really awesome.
But what about sort and remove usings refactoring, will it be restored?

It's working there as well - but you have to turn on source analysis in the options.
(btw. you should get todays branch, I did some speed optimizing the last 2 days)

Well, I've seen that redundant usings are being highlighted in the source code and that they can be removed. But I wasn't able to find how to remove all redundant usings at once or how to sort them.
