Description of Problem: Xamarin Studio iOS designer does not load my Xamarin.ios storyboard (the designer progress indicator keeps spinning and no file gets loaded)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Just upgraded to stable Xamarin Studio 5.5.2 and tried Opening an existing Xamarin.ios storyboard project and try opening a storyboard file (MainStoryboard.storyboard)using the iOS designer
2. progress indicator just keeps spinning and nothing happens.
3. I can open and view the storyboard file in XCODE Interface Builder (Xcode 6)

How often does this happen? On two storyboard apps i have tried this happens.. need this resolved for app development.

I have tried to reproduce this issue but unable to reproduce. I have just upgraded to stable Xamarin Studio 5.5.2. I opened an existing
Xamarin.ios storyboard project and double clicks on storyboard file (MainStoryboard.storyboard). I observed that Storyboard file is opened successfully using iOS Designer.

Please let us know if we have to follow any other steps to reproduce this issue?

Comment 2 Alan McGovern 2014-11-07 07:35:20 UTC
Hey,

You only attached the log file corresponding to when you opened the storyboard in Xcode. This file contains nothing from the internal designer.

Can you attach all the log files from the log directory to help us diagnose the issue?
Comment 3 Alan McGovern 2015-01-07 06:27:41 UTC
Please reopen the bug if you can provide the information we request in Comment 2. The log files will help us figure out what is going wrong.

Thanks!
