Description Matt Samet 2014-10-11 23:01:34 UTC
I have a directory "Test Apps". I created a brand new iOS Classic Single-View application inside that dir on my Macbook.
This created fine. I was able to quit and reopen Xamarin Studio and it loaded the solution and project.

I then tried to run the new project in the iOS simulator. It gave me an error resulting from it not quote-escaping the entire path when loading into the simulator.

Process exited with code 1, command:
xcrun -sdk macosx otool -L /Users/matt/Documents/Projects/Test Apps/testxam2/testxam2/bin/iPhoneSimulator/Debug/testxam2.app/testxam2
error: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/otool: can't open file: /Users/matt/Documents/Projects/Test (No such file or directory)

Oops, the new code for supporting older simulator does not handle space correctly.

QA: can we ensure (test plan) there's always some tests being executed with spaces in the path ?

I have checked this issue followed by steps mentioned in bug description and now this issue is working fine.

I have created a directory "Test Apps". I created a iOS-> Classic-> iPhone -> Single-View application inside that dir on my system. Quit and reopen XS, run that Single View application on iOS Simulator. I observed that this Single View application runs successfully on iOS Simulator without any error.

I have create a new iOS-> Classic-> iPhone Single View application and run it.
It runs successfully without any error.
