Description Jim Koehler 2014-10-09 13:42:19 UTC
We are creating an iOS and Android app using Xamarin.Forms Master-Detail with a Navigation Controller. That app displays in the Detail both native pages and web pages (in a Xamarin.Forms WebView). In order to create a consistent user experience between native and web content, we need additional control over the Navigation Menu/Back button. Specifically, we need an exposed property to disable the Back function of the Menu/Back button and have it perform and display only as a Menu function. We will add our own Back button that controls the native pages in the Detail using the Navigation Controller stack and the UX will be modeled after the Back button that already appears in the web pages in the Detail.
