Description Jonathan Pobst 2011-12-02 16:06:44 UTC
If you try to create something using the compass, the values returned by the SensorManager fluctuate between the correct value and 0.

This can be seen in ApiDemo->Graphics->Compass or MapsDemo->With Compass.

This is a regression since 1.9.2.

I fixed this by changing ApiDemo to use the currently recommended sensor APIs. It was using deprecated APIs.

I did not dig, but a possible cause of this regression was that using SensorType.Orientation may have been the incorrect value for an Orientation sensor.
