Attempt to create a CLBeacon and then do .Major or .Minor the intellisense will say it was iOS 8, but this is not the case:
That looks like a mistake when the type was added to Yosemite (10.10) and the attribute was updated.
Commit e48d0845 kind of confused a comment (about a change in ArgumentSemantic) with the availability itself of some API. e.g.
- //iOS 8.0 / Mac 10.10 - ArgumentSemantic.Strong Added
+ [Mac(10,10), iOS (8,0)]
[Export ("minor", ArgumentSemantic.Strong)]
I'll review them (it's not just Major and Minor).
It looks like CLBeacon[Region] might have been removed from the latest 10.10 builds. I'm waiting for a confirmation (from XM) before updating this.
I downloaded Xcode 6.1 beta 2 and the header files specify NA for OSX (i.e. it's not there anymore, if it ever was).
Fixed in monotouch/master 07cbf7ba08ff3995a3450bb69294cfe1a9133d81
and monotouch-8.2.0-branch f3180a78b123c400e382a9dccb173afbc327252a
I have tried to verify this issue and to verify this I have created an instance of CLBeacon and then access properties of CLBeacon. It shows Major and Minor.
