Description Jeff Ward 2014-09-05 11:20:23 UTC
Description of Problem:
Go to definition when going to a .dll (meaning going to metadata) results in a crash dialog box and doesn't go to the metadata definition.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

2. Select "Go to definition"

Actual Results: Goes to the definition in the metadata

Expected Results: Crash dialog

I am still having problems with this. It doesn't always happen, but it happens pretty frequently (maybe 75 percent of the time). It no longer gives an error dialog, it merely opens the assembly browser to a random assembly and doesn't navigate to the declaration. It seems all that was done was trap the error instead of fixing the underlying problem. Take a look at my screencast!
