Description Atsushi Eno 2011-11-30 07:42:36 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

- start MD.
- Open the attached source (I'm going to attach one in the next comment privately as it is part of monodroid source), that is, independent of any project.
- Edit line 50 from

			return null;

			try {
				return base.LookupNamespace (prefix);
			} catch (RuntimeException) {

at this state, lots of exception stack trace lines are dumped. Then, try to enter the following line in the editor.

				throw new NotSupportedException ();

I cannot finish this operation as MD starts to run infinitely and does not accept operations anymore, leading to OS crash on Ubuntu.

Can't repro with todays newresolver branch :/ (using Linux Mint)

Can you confirm that ?
Comment 3 Atsushi Eno 2012-02-29 04:28:14 UTC
Yes, it does not reproduce on newresolver (047e863) anymore.
Comment 4 Mike Krüger 2012-02-29 07:52:46 UTC
ok closing that one then.
