Description Paul Read 2014-09-02 10:16:16 UTC
Description of Problem:
When I open a file (e.g. a .cs file) and the IDE is set to half screen width it annoyingly reduces in size

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Use Win+left arrow to set IDE to half window size (or as near as it will go)
2. Open a file in the project

Actual Results:
IDE becomes 'undocked' from left half of screen and reduces in size by 100 pixels or so

Expected Results:
The file should open with no impact on the size of the IDE

How often does this happen?
99% (sometimes it also changes width!)

Additional Information:
It is raining outside today

I have the same issue, Xamarin looses its docking whenever I have it docked to either left or right and returns to its non docked position.

The issue only occurs when I have it docked not when I size and position it manually.

Here's my info:

XS 5.7 still exhibits this behavior. It is rather tedious any chance of a fix soon?
Comment 4 Lars Jarlvik 2015-03-30 14:19:32 UTC
Yup, still there, really annoying...
