Description yxy332 2014-08-17 22:01:31 UTC
If I don't check NRC option, Dispose always be called when I Dismiss the ViewCtrl.
But if the NRC is checked, Dispose never be called.
The words below is from http://developer.xamarin.com/guides/ios/advanced_topics/newrefcount/
"The reference count extension ensure the managed object stays alive (and prevent its collection) as long as there as the native object is retained by native code."
I think, even if the object is not referenced in Xamarin Code, there is a object in native code.
But that's a question, when is the object not retained by native code, what's its lifetime?

Could you please provide us the test steps you followed. If possible please
attach a small complete project that demonstrates this behavior.
