Description Andrei 2014-08-08 13:59:11 UTC
Every time I try to add an existing file to a project or add an existing project to my solution, Xamarin stops working on showing Open File Dialog. Sometimes it shows primary folder files, but it stucks when I try to change folder or drag needed files to the dialog window. It completely stops my urgent work. Please help!
I don't see any error messages.
.DS_Store files are deleted.
I try using Open File Dialog in other apps - no problem. Only Xamarin Studio fails.
Cancel button still works and after some slowdowns I can move back to XS and continue using the environment. So, this is not a halt, but looks like some heavy loop (cpu fan is running crazy) and like an intercepted exception without any error report.
Sometimes XS shuts down on the described cases.
No chance to keep working. SOS!

Task manager shows heavy kernel task cpu usage.
Maybe you could add an optional alternative open file dialog? =) I guess, it could be a problem of OS X File Open Dialog like as it was with .DS_Store... Any solution is very much needed.

We have checked, adding existing file to a project or adding an existing
project to solution is working fine.

Could you please provide us the test steps you followed. If possible please
attach a small complete project that demonstrates this behavior.

Also can you please add the logs from the following places?:
On XS IDE Log Location: XS>Help> Open Log Directory> IDE.log file (with latest
