On iOS, when map.IsShowingUser = true, a blue dot appears at the current location. Nothing is shown for the current location on Android (or WinPhone but I am told this is not implemented on WinPhone yet)
1. Open attached test project
2. Set the iOS project as the startup project and deploy
3. Scroll the map to the current location manually
Expected result: an indication (blue circle on iOS) of the current location will be visible
Actual result: As expected
4. Stop app.
5. Set the Android project as the startup project and deploy
6. Scroll the map manually to your current location
Expected result: some indicator of the current location will be visible
Actual result: No indicator showing the current location is visible.
Tested with Xamarin.Forms version 1.0.6188 and 188.8.131.5243
Note: Could not add attachment due to size limitations (even after removing all bin and obj folders and packages.)
Also, since I had removed the packages to reduce size, you will need to restore the nuget packages for the solution.
