Some tests were disabled in 81867287f8a686effefc2317711b259359575b20 because they were failing on wrench:

This doesn't seem to be a mono issue, the directory is named 'Test', but some functions like getcwd () return 'test'.

Test Case Failures:
1) MonoTests.Microsoft.Build.BuildEngine.Various.Items.TestItemsWithWildcards : A1: Expected message 'ItemsRel: /private/tmp/source-mono-mac-master/bockbuild/profiles/mono-mac-release/build-root/mono-3.4.1/mcs/class/Microsoft.Build.Engine/Test/resources/dir/a/aa/aaa/foo.dll RecDir: a/aa/aaa/' was not emitted.

2) MonoTests.Microsoft.Build.BuildEngine.Various.Items.TestReservedMetadata : A3
String lengths are both 163. Strings differ at index 144.
  Expected: "...no-3.4.1/mcs/class/Microsoft.Build.Engine/Test/resources/bar/"
  But was: "...no-3.4.1/mcs/class/Microsoft.Build.Engine/test/resources/bar/"

Is this a wrench issue then?

Ir doesn't look like an xbuild bug.
Comment 2 Zoltan Varga 2014-07-30 18:08:38 UTC
This bug is just there as a remainder that those tests were disabled.
