test case

When creating a scene kit scene in F# on iOS 8, the scene appears momentarily and then disappears. Also, if I remove the code that sets the view's background color, the scene never appears.

Here'a a video demonstrating the behavior: http://screencast.com/t/kgHxp3L9aJ3

window was getting collected.

patch from Larry O'Brien:

[<Register ("AppDelegate")>]
type AppDelegate () =
    inherit UIApplicationDelegate ()
override val Window : UIWindow = null with get, set
// This method is invoked when the application is ready to run.
    override this.FinishedLaunching (app, options) =
        this.Window <- new UIWindow (UIScreen.MainScreen.Bounds)
// If you have defined a root view controller, set it here:
        this.Window.RootViewController <- new MyViewController ()
        this.Window.MakeKeyAndVisible ()
