Comment 2 Sadik Ali 2014-06-27 03:37:43 UTC
I have tried this issue many times and I observed that when I move the component to the storyboard file I am able to add the control to the storyboard file and I am not getting error. XS doesn't crashes while moving controls to storyboard file.

Steps I have followed:

1. Create an iPhone "Single View Application" in XS.
2. Move few component (View Controller, Navigation Controller, Collection View Controller, Navigation Controller) and controls (button, label, switch, slider, text field) to the storyboard file.
3. Edit the component to the storyboard file.

Screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/khHLrwqmN

I can't reproduce this, we may have to see if a developer can figure out what's going on from the stack trace.

Comment 3 William Rodriguez 2014-06-27 11:41:59 UTC
Have you seen the crash log? The crash is very random and happens at least once every hour.
Comment 4 Alan McGovern 2014-07-10 00:33:58 UTC
William, by any chance does this crash happen around the same time as you close the tab associated with the designer? If so I think i might know the problem. If not, could you try to keep track of the actions you are doing aroudn the time it crashes and let us know what you did right before it happened.

I've marked the bug as needinfo but will be looking at trying to fix it in the meantime.
