This may be the same bug as https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16314 but I'm not sure yet.

I have checked this issue and I am unable to reproduce this issue.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Change the keyboard layout to Spanish(Argentina).
2. Following key combination are working on XS

    Ctrl+Alt+ C        : Ctrl+Alt+C
    Ctrl+Alt+End     : Indent Selection
    Ctrl+Alt+Home  : Unindent Selection
    Alt+"                  : {
    Alt+[                  : [
    Alt+]                  : ]
    Alt+ Insert : Show Code Generation Window
    Shift+*               : (
    Shift+(                : )

When I change the layout of keyboard to Spanish I observed that I am able to press the combination of "Ctrl+Alt" .

Hi Ram,

Thanks so much for taking a look at this. If you have time, take a look at the Xamarin Forums post here:
    https://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/comment/60761

Near the bottom the guy posted a picture of the Spanish keyboard layout along with some more information. He said the keys with three characters on them require Ctrl+Alt+key, I guess like the ones just next to the [Enter] key on the right side of the keyboard. Do any of those work for you?
Comment 3 Ram Chandra 2014-06-24 11:38:09 UTC
Hi Cody,

I have seen the layout of spanish keyword, it contains 13 key on the left side of [Enter] button. But I have only 12 keys on my keyboard. The just next to the [Enter] key is not available on my keyboard( } ). So I am not able to check this one but all the 12 key are working as per the layout.

As user is saying he is unable to print brackets but I am able to print the bracket without using alt key.

For example: My keyboard layout is "Spanish (Argentina)" and with the help of following key I am able to print brackets.

  Shift+*         : (
  Shift+(         : )
  Alt+"            : {
  Alt+[            : [
    Alt+]          : ]

I have also check the few ctrl+alt+key combination as mentioned in "Comment 1". Those are also working for me .

Could you please tell me what combination of ctrl+alt+key I have to check?
