Description Andrius Bentkus 2014-06-13 04:59:58 UTC
Description of Problem:

I am using SslStream around my own implementation of a Stream. Now this implementation only implements the Async methods (WriteAsync, ReadAsync). But when I use only the Async calls in SslStream (like AUthenticateAsClient) it will call the Synchronous methods (like Write, Read) under the hood and since these are not implemented, it will throw a not Implemented exception.

I'm invoking AuthenticateAsClientAsync, not AuthenticateAsClient to be clear.
