Description George Danila 2014-05-16 09:45:56 UTC
Since updating from Xamarin.iOS version to we've been experiencing the following exception with our app:

Cannot cast from source type to destination type
at System.Net.WebConnectionStream.WriteRequestAsyncCB (IAsyncResult ar) [0x0007] in /Developer/Monotouch/Source/mono/mcs/class/System/System.Net/WebConnectionStream.cs:721
at System.Net.WebAsyncResult.CB (System.Object unused) [0x00000] in /Developer/MonoTouch/Source/mono/mcs/class/System/System.Bet/WebAsyncResult.cs:151

This happens during a synchronisation process (sequential web service calls on a separate thread than the UI thread) or while doing web service calls at random.

We're trying to downgrade to version as a workaround but this issue needs to be addressed.

I have tried to reproduce this issue with some applications which requires web services and using System.Net but I am not getting this type of error or exception.

Mac Lion
X.S 4.2.5(Build 0)

@George, Could you please provide project for which you are getting this issue? also please provide iOS device log from View->Pads->iOS Device Log and Symbolicated log(Device log) from Xcode organizer.
