The default build process on Windows in Cygwin is ./configure, make and make install. I would like to use emcc(Emscripten) instead of gcc, to compile Mono through Emscripten. What is the wisest way to change the compiler in the build process ?

It is highly unlikely that mono will compile/work with anything else than gcc.
