Steps to reproduce : 

Press ALT+V - menu for view will be opened.
Close it (esc key)
Press ALT+V - menu for version control will be opened

View and Version Control will be open in cycle by pressing ALT+V

This is bug, imho. In order to fix it, Version Control menu or View menu ALT key should be made distinct.

For example ALT+V opens View, ALT+C opens Version Control.

This has been recently fixed. It will be included in future versions.
