Xamarin Studio used to simply skip over Windows Phone projects. This behavior is quite desirable in cross-platform scenarios. Xamarin Studio now reports an error for every unknown project in the active configuration. This results in build failures for those relying on the old system.
Fixed in 188.8.131.523
Unbuildable projects will now be ignored when building a solution, unless they are explicitly referenced by a buildable project.
I have checked this issue with cross platform same which is having iOS, Android and Windows Phone project. When I build the solution it builds only project which is supported by XS. However, It does not build project which are not supported by Xamarin Studio. This is the screencast for the same: http://www.screencast.com/t/AIxMfGZb
