Description Frank A. Krueger 2014-05-02 19:01:49 UTC
Steps:

1. Create a Shared Assets Project
2. Add a new iOS project to the solution

Observe:

You cannot compile or run the iOS project.

I had to mess around with Configurations before XS was happy.

Xamarin Studio
Version 5.0 (build 784)
Installation UUID: e51e2705-c52a-4ae8-aa07-c481d6ab8a7a
Runtime:
	Mono 3.4.0 ((no/51469e6)
	GTK+ 2.24.23 (Raleigh theme)

	Package version: 304000202

Today I have tried to reproduce this issue and follow the following steps :

1. Created C# Shared Assets project
2. Add iOS project
3. Build the project

It builds successfully as shown in screencast : http://www.screencast.com/t/GImbQzB9

However I have checked it via setting added iOS project as default Project but it builds successfully. Please let me know if I have missed some steps.

And could you please provide build error which you are getting, so that we can check this issue?

Thanks

Fixed in 5.0.0.840.

As a workaround, set the iOS project as Startup project.

Thanks for the bug report Frank!
