In the repo: https://github.com/xamarin/monotouch-samples

There is a README.md file and a LICENSE file.

README.md states: The Apache License 2.0 applies to all samples in this repository.
LICENSE states: All of the samples in this directory are licensed under the terms of the MIT X11 license

Which is it?

Randall, we've got to do a bit of forensics to figure out some of the history on a couple of the samples.

In the meantime, email me at bryanc at xamarin.com and let me know what code you're looking for and we'll figure it out.
