Reported as regression in 4.2.4 => 4.2.4 until answered.
I have checked this issue but not able to reproduce it. I tried to reproduce this issue by following the steps below:
1. Create a sample iOS application named “iOSApp_18466”.
2. Add a new Portable Library project named “PCLib” and build it successfully.
3. Add “PCLib” project reference into “iOSApp_18466”.
4. On building “iOSApp_18466” project, I am not getting Warning/exception as mentioned into bug description.

This should be fixed in the new MSBuild logic for Unified projects (since they now use MSBuild).
