Description René Ruppert 2011-11-02 10:35:45 UTC
I have gazillions of tabs/files open in Monodevelop. Sometimes I want to clean up: I right click one tab and select to close all others.
The effect is that I never end up with the tab I clicked but some other.

Do you have more steps to reproduce this? The "close all but this" command works fine for me.

Maybe it has to do with the mouse focus issue on mac ?
Comment 3 René Ruppert 2011-11-03 04:34:50 UTC
It has indeed something to do with the mouse focus. It only happens if the right click does not activate the correct tab. It then jumps to the first tab and closes all others.
I have similar issues with the mouse all the time: elements in Monodevelop are not clickable. For instance I cannot click the OKAY button of the exception dialog unless I click Monodevelop in the background once.
Currently I cannot reproduce the tab context menu issue either, so no further steps, sorry.

This should have been fixed by https://github.com/mono/monodevelop/commit/57b7c01c8580b9c099023e4fee65c316b2659e9, please re-open if it still happens with MD 2.8.5 or later.
