Repro Project

var prms = (GridLayout.LayoutParams)GetChildAt(i).LayoutParameters;
var span = prms.ColumnSpec;

The above "span" is of type "Spec" which does not seem to give the actual column span value, e.g. "2" or "1", etc. The Spec type also does not have any obvious properties on how to extract that information. 

Attached is a sample project to test the above code.

This appears to be an issue with Android proper, in that the desired information isn't exposed in any public way, as the GridLayout.Spec type only contains public equals() and hashCode() members, nothing else, which makes it rather...pointless:
