Have UAC enabled
Install using the Updater


The name of the program in the UAC dialog is Xamarin.Android (version number)


It uses the temporary file name I believe.

I was installing 4.12.0-28
I was installing from MTVS 1.10.39 and MFA 4.10.2

I don't think this is dependent on the environment, but I was on:
Windows 8.1 x86

As we've added several improvements to our update mechanism since the bug was reported, I'm resolving it. That said, if you're still facing this issue with current bits, please feel
free to reopen the bug.
