Description Roman Kalantari 2011-10-30 15:37:47 UTC
It would be great if the "use default device" allowed more than 1 device to be specified, or if only 1 device is detected to allow it to auto deploy. If it detected more than 1 default device then it could prompt.

Presumably this is for Visual Studio? It doesn't sound like MonoDevelop's deploy system.

Yes sorry forgot to put that

This has been redone for a future release, in a way that puts setting the current device is a much more visible and easily accessible place. It isn't exactly what you are suggesting, but it should be much nicer.

The problem with doing auto-deploy when only 1 device is detected is that the Select Device dialog is where you launch emulators, so if you have 1 device or emulator started, you couldn't start a second because the dialog would auto-deploy.
