Xamarin Studio Log
*Report filed on behalf of a user*
When attempting to open Xamarin Studio, it loads successfully and the welcome screen appears for a few seconds. However, then Xamarin Studio crashes. Specifically, it seems to be failing with the following error:
ERROR [2014-02-15 15:19:05Z]: An unhandled exception has occured. Terminating MonoDevelop? True
System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void Cairo.Context.SetSource(Cairo.Pattern)'.
at MonoDevelop.Ide.WelcomePage.XamarinWelcomePageButtonBar.OnExposeEvent(EventExpose evnt)
at Gtk.Widget.exposeevent_cb(IntPtr widget, IntPtr evnt)
Cairo.Context: called from finalization thread, programmer is missing a call to Dispose
Attempts to resolve the issue:
1) Tried fully re-installing the software. Results: Same crashing behavior.
2) Updating to the latest Beta version of the software. Results: Same crashing behavior.
Logs from Xamarin Studio attached.
They seem to have somehow installed an older version of GTK#.
