I have checked this issue with following steps:

1. I have Created a provisional profile and did not include that device in provisional profile where I have to deploy my app.
2. Created an iPhone app.
3. Set a provisional profile to 'iOS Bundle Signing'.
4. Deploy an app on device.

I get the following error message :

Log generated on 10/30/2014 12:24:55 PM

Failed to start application on the target device (Generic)

Build server returned an Error.

As there is no response from "2014-10-30", and its working fine at our end.

Hence closing this issue.
