Xamarin for VS 1.12.201(1b58c1034a0c55fdf284e543623030efada740a6)
same behavior happening with 1.12.177
So, there are two possible things here. The first one is that you're hitting a breakpoint in a time-limited location - that is, the FinishedLaunching method must complete its work within 17-20s or else iOS kills it. If this is the case then this bug is invalid.
Another cause is that the debugger crashes in the debugee (as might be suggested by debug log) in which case this is a bug but very likely in the Mono runtime and/or soft debugger libraries.
It does look like this is just the FinishedLaunching expected behavior. The debugger would disconnect no matter where you hover the mouse.
I'm just going to resolve this one as INVALID. If you can reproduce without being in the FinishedLaunching method, please REOPEN.
I have checked this issue with the following builds:
Now on hovering mouse debugger doesn't gets disconnected.Hence closing this issue.
