Open an Android AXML file in the editor in VS.
Switch to source view.
Press CTRL+F to search for something in the current file.
Instead of quick search, the "find in files" dialog will open. There is no way to search just the AXML.

I have checked this issue with the following builds:
All windows
VS 2010/2012/2013
Xam.Android 4.10.01073

We are also getting same behavior as mentioned in the bug.Below is the screen-cast for the same:

Hence confirming this issue.

I have tested and found that this issue *does not* occur in the current Alpha channel on Mac:

Visual Studio Community 2017 for Mac (Preview)
Version 7.1 Preview (7.1 build 583)

Version: (Visual Studio Community)

I can see that the problem is fixed now on latest stable windows version. So feel free to close the ticket.
