Description David Schwegler 2014-01-17 17:19:22 UTC
1) Place appropriately named "Icon.png" and "Default.png" (with @2x variants, etc if desired) in the /Resources folder your iOS project
2) In Visual Studio Solution Explorer, right click on these files and include them in the project
3) Open the iOS Application properties window. Make a modification, e.g. increase the version number.
4) Open the Info.plist file in a text editor. The CFBundleIconFiles has been populated with the "Default" launch image filenames.

Placing the Default images in this key is a bug, and causes iOS to not use the actual app icons.

Also: it's frankly bad that key is populated when the file is saved, even though you didn't change any images.

I have checked this issue with latest stable but I am unable to reproduce this .

I have followed the steps mentioned in bug description and observed that the "CFBundleIconFiles" key is not updated until we set the image icon property.

For now I am closing this issue. If you will get this issue again please feel free to reopen this issue.
