STart 'Debug' on simulator
Stop the build
(it hangs for a bit)
Do what you want here...
After a while the build completes on the Mac and the app gets launched on the simulator

This is especially problematic if the app starts while you're doing something else

Actually, I forgot, it results in all kinds of problems. The subsequent build/debug you start gets hung. Sometimes it starts, but with the settings (for example the target) of the first, interrupted build.

At times it just messes up things so much you have to reboot

Hey Andy,

Yeah... we are aware about this issue and it's going to be improved in the future.  I am about to mark this as a feature. So please, stay tuned.
