Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Rename class Foo to Bar (it will rename Foo.cs to Bar.cs as well).
2. Do CTRL+Z (Undo).
Bar class is renamed back to Foo, but it remains in Bar.cs.
Bar class is renamed back to Foo, and file is renamed back from Foo.cs to Bar.cs.
Atm we don't have the undo for such operations.
(Doesn't apply to solution wide refactorings alone - search & replace in project has the same problem)
We've spoken internally about such feature - atm we decided against a complex undo - version control is the 'feature' to undo complex operations.
As per comment 2, this issue WONTFIX.
Hence closing this issue, marking it as verified.
Bug 20604 is a duplicate of this.
