Description josea 2013-12-19 17:07:10 UTC
It happens very frequently that we modify the XML code of a given layout and hit RUN, to then realize that Xamarin Studio didn't save the XML (so the changes are not included in the Run).

The workaround is to remember to save by going to the file/save option.

I have checked this issue with following builds:

All Mac
X.S 4.2.2(build 2)
Mono 3.2.6
X.Android 4.10.1-68

When I edit .axml file and run the application, .axml file gets saved automatically. This is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/YBQcpX1fDTyu

@Josea, Could you please try it with latest builds?

As provided in the original post my Xamarin Studio version is: Version 4.3.0 (build 52)... which is actually newer than what you said you tested with.

Please note that we are in the alpha channel.

I will try to get a video recorded, but this is not something that happens 100%, but very frequently.

This was already fixed.
