I tryed to add -v -v -v -v to the build options in Xamarin Studio Mac.

It changed the MtouchExtraArgs in the project file.

When compiled, this command line is generated: ... --abi=i386 "-v" "-v" "-v" "-v" ...

It should be --abi=i386 -v -v -v -v instead.

In this case it's 100% identical: verbosity will be augmented by four levels.

This reason behind this is because some options might have spaces, e.g. 
which, when expended, might become
   "-file=/path/to my/files"
and without quotes would be:
